Responsibilities
- Learn all aspects of international freight forwarding including air freight, ocean freight, and customs brokerage
- Coordinate shipments from origin to destination and communicate status to customers
- Manage documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs entries
- Build and maintain customer relationships and understand their supply chain needs
- Analyze routing options and negotiate rates with carriers and vendors
- Ensure regulatory compliance across multiple international trade lanes
- Participate in Expeditors' structured in-house training and mentorship program
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- Recent graduate or 0–1 year of experience
- Strong interest in international trade and global logistics
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; foreign language skills a plus
