Responsibilities
- Coordinate outbound logistics from Tyson's processing plants to distribution centers and customers
- Manage carrier relationships and negotiate spot market rates for refrigerated freight
- Monitor on-time delivery performance and resolve shipment exceptions
- Partner with production planning to align transportation capacity with output schedules
- Support cold chain compliance and food safety transportation requirements
- Analyze freight spend and report on logistics KPIs to management
- Participate in Tyson's Supply Chain Leadership Development Program
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or Agricultural Business
- 0–2 years of experience; new graduates welcome
- Knowledge of refrigerated or temperature-controlled logistics a plus
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, food manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office
