Responsibilities
- Coordinate freight movements across Werner's truckload and logistics network
- Manage carrier relationships and negotiate spot rates for logistics shipments
- Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or disruptions
- Build and maintain customer relationships, providing regular status updates
- Assist in developing and optimizing freight lanes for cost efficiency
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for freight transportation
- Learn and apply Werner's proprietary logistics technology platforms
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (2024–2026 graduates)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Customer-service oriented with excellent communication skills
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applications
- Team-oriented mindset with ability to work independently when needed
