Responsibilities
- Manage driver dispatch, load planning, and carrier coordination activities
- Monitor freight movement and proactively communicate status updates to customers
- Resolve operational issues including delays, breakdowns, and load exceptions
- Partner with safety team to reinforce compliance with hours-of-service regulations
- Analyze route efficiency and assist in optimizing driver schedules
- Support recruiting and onboarding of new drivers in coordination with HR
- Participate in Schneider's rotational leadership development program
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Business, or related field
- Recent graduate or up to 1 year of relevant experience
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, 24/7 operations environment
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
