About This Role

ABB India is hiring fresh graduates as Supply Chain Coordinators within its Electrification or Motion business supply chain teams. You will support procurement, material planning, and logistics operations for ABB's India manufacturing plants — contributing to supply chain efficiency for one of the world's leading power and automation technology companies.

Role Context

ABB India operates 15+ manufacturing facilities producing transformers, switchgear, motors, drives, robots, and electrification products for Indian and global customers — with a combined India revenue of ₹8,000+ crore annually. ABB's supply chain manages electrical and mechanical component procurement from a 700+ India supplier base alongside global imports from ABB's Swiss, German, and Chinese manufacturing network. Supply Chain Coordinators work within ABB's SAP-based ERP environment and its globally standardized supply chain quality frameworks — developing procurement and material planning expertise within a Swiss engineering culture known for precision and technical depth.

Key Responsibilities

• Support operational procurement — purchase order processing, delivery scheduling, and supplier follow-up for assigned component categories in SAP
• Monitor supplier delivery performance — on-time delivery, quality rejection rates, and supplier scorecard management
• Coordinate inbound logistics — inland freight from domestic suppliers and import shipment tracking for international components
• Support material requirements planning — MRP analysis, safety stock reviews, and shortage escalation for production-critical components
• Assist in supplier quality coordination — documenting NCRs (non-conformance reports) and tracking corrective action closure
• Maintain procurement documentation — purchase orders, delivery confirmations, and goods receipt records in SAP

Requirements & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering) or MBA (Operations) — 2024/2025 batch
• SAP MM module knowledge is a strong advantage
• Understanding of electrical or mechanical component procurement and material planning
• Excel proficiency for supplier data management and procurement reporting
• Knowledge of industrial quality standards (ISO 9001, IEC standards) is advantageous
