You will support demand planning, customer fulfilment, and logistics operations for 3M's diverse portfolio of industrial, healthcare, consumer, and safety products — contributing to supply chain reliability for one of the world's most innovative manufacturing companies.

Job Overview

Role Context

3M India operates manufacturing plants in Pune, Ahmedabad, and Bangalore producing 6,000+ products across industrial, healthcare, safety, and consumer categories — including Post-it, Scotch tape, N95 respirators, surgical films, and advanced automotive adhesives. 3M India's supply chain coordinates both local manufacturing and import supply chains to serve 30,000+ Indian customers across diverse industry sectors. Supply Chain Coordinators work across demand planning, order management, and logistics — learning 3M's ERP systems (SAP) and global supply chain standards in an environment known for product diversity and process innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support demand planning for assigned 3M product lines — statistical forecasting, demand review inputs, and safety stock management in SAP
• Coordinate customer order management — order entry, order confirmation, and delivery scheduling for 3M India's customer base
• Track and report supply chain KPIs — OTIF, forecast accuracy, inventory coverage, and order fill rate
• Monitor inbound supply — purchase order tracking, import shipment monitoring, and goods receipt coordination
• Support inventory optimization — ABC classification, slow-moving stock reviews, and excess inventory reduction initiatives
• Coordinate with 3M's manufacturing plants and global supply network for stock availability and allocation decisions

Requirements & Skills

• MBA (Operations/SCM) or B.E./B.Tech (Industrial/Mechanical) — 2024/2025 batch
• Excel and data analysis proficiency; SAP knowledge is advantageous
• Understanding of demand planning and inventory management fundamentals
• Customer service orientation — order management requires responsiveness and proactive customer communication
• Good English communication skills for internal and external coordination
