About This Role

Schneider Electric India is hiring fresh graduates as Supply Chain Graduate Trainees within its Supply Chain Management function. You will work across procurement, logistics, and demand planning for Schneider Electric's India manufacturing operations — supporting supply chain sustainability and efficiency for one of the world's leading energy management and industrial automation companies.

Role Context

Schneider Electric India operates 30+ manufacturing plants producing switchgear, circuit breakers, UPS systems, transformers, and energy management solutions across India. Schneider Electric's SCM function is globally recognized for its sustainability leadership — Schneider is consistently ranked among the world's most sustainable supply chains by Gartner. SCM Graduate Trainees join a supply chain organization actively deploying AI-based demand planning, digital twin simulations, and circular economy programs — giving freshers exposure to next-generation supply chain technology alongside core procurement and logistics fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities

• Support demand planning and S&OP activities — statistical forecasting, demand review coordination, and supply planning reconciliation
• Assist in procurement for assigned commodity portfolios — RFQ management, supplier negotiations, and purchase order management in SAP
• Monitor supplier delivery performance — OTIF, fill rate, and quality compliance for assigned supplier portfolios
• Coordinate inbound logistics — freight booking, shipment tracking, and customs clearance for imported components
• Support inventory management — safety stock calculation, slow-moving stock identification, and stock reconciliation
• Contribute to supply chain sustainability reporting — Scope 3 emissions tracking, responsible sourcing audits, and circular economy initiatives

Requirements & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering) or MBA (Operations/SCM) — 2024/2025 batch
• SAP MM or APO knowledge is a strong advantage
• Excel proficiency; interest in supply chain analytics and digital tools
• Genuine interest in sustainable supply chain — Schneider's SCM culture is deeply sustainability-driven
• Understanding of manufacturing procurement — supplier management, material planning, and inbound logistics
