About This Role

DHL Supply Chain India — part of Deutsche Post DHL Group, the world's largest logistics company — is hiring fresh graduates as Graduate Supply Chain Trainees within its Contract Logistics and Supply Chain Solutions business. You will support warehouse operations management, inventory control, and supply chain solutions delivery for DHL's blue-chip customer base in India across sectors including FMCG, retail, healthcare, automotive, and technology.

Job Overview

Role Context

DHL Supply Chain India operates 400+ warehouses and logistics facilities across India, managing supply chain outsourcing contracts for over 200 multinational and Indian corporate customers. Graduate Trainees are embedded in live customer operations — learning warehouse management, inventory control, transportation planning, and supply chain performance management within DHL's structured operations environments. DHL's global footprint means trainees gain exposure to international best-practice logistics processes, WMS systems, and DPDHL's globally standardized supply chain quality frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day warehouse operations management — inbound receiving, put-away, pick-pack-ship, and returns processing
• Monitor inventory accuracy — cycle counting, stock reconciliation, and WMS inventory management using SAP EWM or Manhattan WMS
• Track and report operational KPIs — order accuracy, throughput, productivity, space utilization, and inventory turnover
• Assist in transportation coordination — booking outbound shipments, tracking delivery performance, and managing carrier exceptions
• Support lean process improvement initiatives within the warehouse operation — identifying waste, implementing 5S, and tracking improvement outcomes
• Coordinate with customer supply chain teams on order requirements, stock coverage, and service level compliance

Requirements & Skills

• MBA (Operations/Logistics) or B.E./B.Tech (Industrial/Mechanical) — 2024/2025 batch
• Willingness to work in warehouse and distribution center environments — this is an operations-floor role
• Excel proficiency; WMS or ERP familiarity is advantageous
• Understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes
• Good analytical skills for operations data tracking and KPI reporting
