About This Role

Nestlé India is hiring fresh graduates as Supply Chain Analysts within its Supply Chain function. You will support demand planning, procurement, and logistics operations for Nestlé's portfolio of iconic food and beverage brands — including Maggi, KitKat, Nescafé, Munch, and Milkmaid — contributing to supply chain reliability for one of India's most recognized consumer goods companies.

Role Context

Nestlé India operates 9 manufacturing factories and distributes products through 4 million+ retail outlets across India. The Supply Chain Analyst role sits within Nestlé's Integrated Supply Chain team — working across demand planning, raw material procurement, production planning, and customer logistics. Nestlé India's SCM function uses SAP IBP for demand and supply planning and is connected to Nestlé's global supply chain community — giving freshers access to global best practices in food and beverage supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

• Support statistical demand forecasting for Nestlé India's product portfolio using SAP IBP — combining historical data with promotional, seasonal, and new product inputs
• Monitor and report supply chain KPIs — forecast accuracy (MAPE/BIAS), OTIF, inventory days, and service levels across Nestlé's customer base
• Assist in production planning coordination — aligning demand requirements with factory capacity and raw material availability
• Track raw material and packaging procurement against lead times and coverage targets
• Prepare weekly S&OP dashboards and management reporting packs for SCM leadership
• Support distributor performance management — stock coverage, order fulfilment rates, and secondary sales tracking
• Assist in new product launch supply chain coordination — lead time estimation, initial inventory stocking, and vendor readiness

Requirements & Skills

• MBA (Operations/SCM) or B.E./B.Tech (Industrial/Mechanical Engineering) — 2024/2025 batch
• Advanced Excel proficiency; SAP IBP or SAP APO knowledge is advantageous
• Strong numerical aptitude and analytical mindset for supply chain data interpretation
• Understanding of FMCG supply chain — demand planning, S&OP, inventory management, and distribution
• Good English communication skills for cross-functional team coordination
