Role Context

P&G India operates manufacturing plants in Mandideep, Baddi, Bhiwadi, and Hyderabad producing brands including Ariel, Tide, Pampers, Gillette, Olay, and Whisper. Supply Chain Manager Trainees are assigned to manufacturing or logistics operations from Day 1 — managing real teams and real production lines within months of joining. Key Responsibilities

• Lead a manufacturing production unit or logistics team within P&G's India operations — managing 20–50 workers and accountable for safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency KPIs
• Implement P&G's Integrated Work Systems (IWS) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) frameworks in assigned production area
• Drive loss elimination projects using P&G's loss analysis methodology — identifying waste, downtime, and quality defects in production systems
• Coordinate materials flow — raw material availability, production scheduling, and finished goods inventory management for assigned lines
• Develop team capability — coaching operators, conducting skills assessments, and building autonomous operation capability in production teams
• Track and report production KPIs — OEE, OTIF, quality rejection rate, safety incident rate, and cost per unit

Requirements & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering) or MBA (Operations) — 2024/2025 batch
• Strong leadership motivation — P&G looks for demonstrated people leadership potential above technical expertise
• Problem-solving aptitude — comfort with data analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies
• Understanding of manufacturing operations, quality systems, and safety management
• Good communication skills for large operator team management and cross-functional coordination
