Amazon India is hiring fresh graduates as Supply Chain Analysts (Operations) within its India Operations network. You will work at the heart of Amazon's supply chain — analyzing fulfillment center throughput, vendor lead times, transportation routing, and inventory positioning — contributing directly to the reliability and speed of delivery for millions of Amazon customers across India.

Role Context

Amazon India operates one of the world's most sophisticated e-commerce supply chains — with hundreds of fulfillment centers, sortation centers, and delivery stations processing millions of shipments daily. Supply Chain Analysts work within Amazon's Operations Science and Analytics teams, using data to identify bottlenecks, optimize inventory placement, forecast demand, and improve vendor performance across Amazon's India supply network. The scale, data richness, and pace of Amazon's operations make this one of the highest-learning-velocity supply chain environments available to a fresh graduate in India.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze fulfillment center operational data — throughput, productivity, defect rates, and capacity utilization — to identify improvement opportunities
• Support demand forecasting for Amazon India's product categories — combining statistical models with vendor and seasonal inputs
• Track and report vendor performance metrics — on-time delivery, fill rate, lead time compliance, and OTIF (On Time In Full)
• Assist in inventory positioning analysis — evaluating stock placement across Amazon's fulfillment network to minimize delivery time and cost
• Build and maintain supply chain dashboards and weekly reporting packs for operations leadership
• Support new product onboarding — coordinating vendor cataloguing, initial inventory stocking, and sourcing lead time validation
• Participate in Kaizen events and process improvement initiatives within Amazon's fulfillment operations

Requirements & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech (Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, or related) or MBA (Operations/SCM) — 2024/2025 batch
• Strong analytical skills — SQL and Excel proficiency required; Python is a significant advantage
• Comfort with large datasets and operational metrics in fast-paced, high-volume environments
• Understanding of supply chain fundamentals — demand forecasting, inventory management, vendor management, and logistics
• Amazon Leadership Principles alignment — particularly Customer Obsession, Dive Deep, and Bias for Action
• Good written and verbal communication for cross-functional stakeholder coordination
