Data Scientist – Enterprise AI (New Grad) – C3.ai

We are hiring New Grad Data Scientists in Redwood City to build and implement AI solutions for the world's largest enterprises.
Responsibilities
- Build enterprise AI applications on the C3 AI Suite — implementing predictive maintenance, demand forecasting, and supply chain optimization models for Fortune 500 customers
- Develop C3 Generative AI application pipelines — implementing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems that allow enterprise employees to query internal knowledge bases with natural language
- Conduct feature engineering and ML model development for energy sector predictive analytics — predicting equipment failure probabilities for oil rigs, refineries, and wind turbines
- Build fraud detection and anti-money laundering (AML) AI models for C3.ai's financial services customers using graph ML and transaction sequence analysis
- Develop ESG analytics models integrating supply chain emissions, energy consumption, and social impact data for C3.ai's corporate sustainability AI applications
- Create technical demonstrations and proof-of-concept implementations showcasing C3.ai's enterprise AI capabilities to prospective customers and C-suite executives
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or Engineering
- Python proficiency for ML development and data pipeline engineering
- Understanding of enterprise software, ML deployment, and production AI system design
- Familiarity with graph databases, time-series analytics, or NLP/LLM applications is a plus
- Strong presentation skills for demonstrating AI solutions to senior enterprise executives
