DataRobot

Full-time Remote United States

Job Description

Data Scientist – Automated ML (New Grad) – DataRobot

DataRobot is the enterprise AI platform that automates the end-to-end process of building, deploying, and monitoring machine learning models — enabling business analysts without deep ML expertise to build production-grade predictive models. Used by 1,500+ enterprises across financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and retail, DataRobot's AutoML platform has built 3+ billion ML models. DataRobot's newest AI platform includes LLM application development, GenAI guardrails, and AI governance capabilities responding to enterprises' urgent need to deploy AI responsibly at scale. We are hiring New Grad Data Scientists to work with enterprise customers implementing AI solutions on DataRobot's platform.

Responsibilities

  • Work with DataRobot's enterprise customers to define business problems, frame them as ML tasks, and build predictive solutions using DataRobot's AutoML platform
  • Conduct feature engineering and data preparation for customer ML projects across financial services (churn, fraud), healthcare (readmission risk), and manufacturing (predictive maintenance)
  • Evaluate DataRobot's automated model selection, hyperparameter tuning, and feature importance recommendations against manually developed ML baselines
  • Build and evaluate LLM-powered applications on DataRobot's platform — implementing RAG pipelines, summarization workflows, and document classification systems for enterprise customers
  • Develop model monitoring configurations tracking data drift, prediction accuracy degradation, and fairness metrics for DataRobot's deployed production models
  • Create technical demonstrations, Jupyter notebooks, and solution accelerators showcasing DataRobot's capabilities across industry use cases

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or Computer Science
  • Python proficiency for data preparation and ML model development (scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM)
  • Understanding of ML concepts: classification, regression, time-series forecasting, model evaluation
  • Experience with AutoML platforms, cloud ML services, or enterprise AI deployment is a plus
  • Strong business communication skills for presenting ML solutions to non-technical stakeholders

Benefits

  • Competitive salary with DataRobot equity and annual bonus
  • DataRobot Enterprise platform access for skill development
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401(k) with DataRobot matching
  • Remote-first with Boston, MA headquarters and annual company gatherings
