Junior Network Architect – New Grad – Juniper Networks

We are hiring New Grad Junior Network Architects at Juniper's Sunnyvale headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Design Juniper enterprise campus and branch network architectures — recommending Juniper EX switching, Mist AI wireless, and SD-WAN solutions for enterprise customers
- Develop Juniper data center fabric architectures using QFX Series switches — designing IP fabric underlay/overlay architectures with EVPN-VXLAN for cloud-scale data center networks
- Build Juniper Mist AI network management architectures — designing AI-driven wireless LAN, wired access, and WAN assurance deployments for enterprise customers
- Design Juniper SRX Security Services Gateway firewall architectures — implementing next-gen firewall policies, IPS, and application visibility for enterprise perimeter security
- Create network architecture documentation — HLD/LLD design documents, IP addressing plans, BGP routing policies, and MPLS VPN topology designs for Juniper customer deployments
- Support Juniper customer proof-of-concept testing using Juniper vLabs virtual network environments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- Strong networking fundamentals — IP routing, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, and Ethernet switching
- Juniper JNCIA (Juniper Networks Certified Associate) certification or equivalent is valued
- Familiarity with Python/Ansible for network automation or Junos scripting
- Interest in service provider networking, data center fabric, or AI-driven network management
