Associate Solutions Architect – New Grad – NetApp

We are hiring New Grad Associate Solutions Architects at NetApp's San Jose headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Design NetApp intelligent data infrastructure solutions for enterprise customers — recommending AFF (All-Flash FAS), FAS, and StorageGRID object storage configurations for NAS, SAN, and object storage workloads
- Develop NetApp Cloud Volumes ONTAP and FSx for ONTAP cloud storage architectures on AWS and Azure — designing hybrid cloud storage solutions for enterprise data management
- Build NetApp SnapCenter backup and recovery architectures protecting enterprise Oracle, SQL Server, and VMware vSphere workloads on NetApp storage systems
- Design NetApp Cloud Backup and Cloud Sync data protection architectures for hybrid and multi-cloud customer environments
- Create storage architecture documentation — capacity sizing worksheets, data protection design guides, and performance benchmarking reports for NetApp customer deployments
- Support NetApp proof-of-concept evaluations — deploying NetApp ONTAP simulator and cloud storage solutions to validate customer storage performance requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electrical Engineering
- Understanding of enterprise storage concepts — NAS, SAN, object storage, RAID, and data protection
- Familiarity with Linux, Windows Server, or VMware vSphere administration is valued
- NetApp NCDA or NCSE certification (or in pursuit) is a plus
- Cloud storage knowledge (AWS S3, Azure Blob, Google Cloud Storage) is valued
