Junior IT Architect – New Grad – Hewlett Packard Enterprise

HPE's Pointnext Technology Services designs and implements enterprise IT architectures for HPE's Fortune 500 customers spanning financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and government. We are hiring New Grad Junior IT Architects in Houston for HPE's Pointnext advisory and implementation practice.
Responsibilities
- Design hybrid cloud architectures using HPE GreenLake services — helping enterprise customers run cloud-native workloads on-premises with HPE's as-a-service delivery model
- Develop high-performance computing (HPC) cluster architectures using HPE Apollo and Cray systems for scientific research, financial modeling, and AI training workloads
- Design HPE Aruba networking architectures — SD-WAN, campus wireless, and zero-trust network access (ZTNA) solutions for enterprise customers
- Build storage architecture recommendations — HPE Alletra dHCI, Primera, and Nimble storage solutions sized for enterprise performance, capacity, and data protection requirements
- Create customer infrastructure architecture documents, implementation runbooks, and as-built diagrams for HPE Pointnext engagements
- Support HPE's customer workshops and technology briefings at HPE's Houston Customer Innovation Center
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electrical Engineering
- Understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure: servers, storage, networking, and virtualization
- Familiarity with Linux administration, cloud computing, or HPC systems is valued
- HPE, CompTIA, or cloud certifications are a plus
- Strong communication skills for enterprise customer technical presentations
