Technology Architect – New Grad – IBM Consulting

IBM is the world's largest hybrid cloud and AI company — combining Red Hat OpenShift, IBM watsonx AI, and IBM Cloud to deliver enterprise AI and cloud transformation. We are hiring New Grad Technology Architects through IBM's Consulting Excellence program.
Responsibilities
- Design enterprise technology architectures for IBM Consulting's clients — cloud migration roadmaps, microservices decomposition, API integration platforms, and hybrid cloud reference architectures
- Build and configure IBM hybrid cloud solutions on Red Hat OpenShift, IBM Cloud, and AWS/Azure/GCP — deploying containerized applications and Kubernetes workloads
- Develop IBM watsonx AI architecture patterns for enterprise clients — designing RAG pipelines, LLM fine-tuning workflows, and AI governance frameworks on IBM's AI platform
- Create enterprise architecture documentation using ArchiMate, TOGAF frameworks, and IBM Garage Method — producing architecture decision records and solution design documents
- Support IBM Consulting client workshops — facilitating architecture design sessions and technology assessment reviews with client CTOs and enterprise architects
- Implement infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and Ansible for IBM's client cloud modernization engagements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and enterprise architecture concepts
- Python or Java programming for cloud automation and integration development
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF) or cloud certifications is a plus
- Strong analytical and client communication skills for consulting engagements
