Data Engineer (Fresher – Data & Analytics)

About This Role

Hexaware Technologies is hiring fresher Data Engineers for its Data & Analytics practice. Hexaware serves financial services, capital markets, travel, and logistics clients with cloud data modernisation services. You will build ETL pipelines, data warehouse solutions, and real-time streaming pipelines for global clients using Python, PySpark, Snowflake, and Azure.

Key Responsibilities

• Build Python-based ETL scripts and PySpark jobs for structured and semi-structured data processing
• Develop Azure Data Factory or AWS Glue pipelines for data ingestion from source systems
• Design data warehouse schemas in Snowflake or Azure Synapse for financial and travel analytics
• Write complex SQL for data transformations, aggregations, and data quality assertions
• Implement Apache Kafka-based streaming pipelines for real-time capital markets data
• Build Power BI datasets and semantic models connecting to cloud data warehouse sources

Requirements & Skills

• B.Tech/M.Tech in CS/IT/ECE from a recognised university with 60%+ (2025/2026 batch)
• Programming skills in Python and SQL; any cloud or data platform experience is a plus
• Basic understanding of databases, ETL, and data analytics concepts
• Good analytical thinking and communication skills
• Cleared Hexaware's fresher recruitment assessment
