Data Engineer (GET – Analytics & AI)

About This Role

Tech Mahindra is hiring Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) specialising in Data Engineering and Analytics for its Analytics & AI practice. You will work on data platform modernisation projects for telecom, BFSI, healthcare, and media clients — building cloud data pipelines using Python, Spark, and cloud-native data services.

Key Responsibilities

• Build Python and PySpark ETL pipelines for telecom CDR (call detail record) and customer analytics datasets
• Develop Azure Data Factory or AWS Glue workflows for structured and semi-structured data ingestion
• Write complex SQL for data transformation on Azure Synapse, Snowflake, or Amazon Redshift
• Implement real-time data streaming pipelines using Azure Event Hubs or AWS Kinesis
• Build Power BI and Azure Analysis Services semantic models for executive dashboards
• Perform data migration testing and validation for legacy Teradata to Snowflake migration projects

Requirements & Skills

• B.Tech/M.Tech in CS/IT/ECE with 60%+ (2025/2026 batch) from an AICTE-approved institution
• Programming skills in Python and SQL; cloud data platform knowledge is a plus
• Basic understanding of databases, ETL concepts, and analytical reporting
• Good communication and teamwork skills for global project delivery
