Data Engineer (Graduate – Data & AI)

About This Role

LTIMindtree is hiring Graduate Data Engineers for its Data & AI practice. LTIMindtree's Canvas data platform and data engineering teams build cloud analytics solutions for insurance, banking, hi-tech, and CPG clients globally. You will work on migrating legacy data warehouses to Snowflake, building real-time pipelines with Kafka, and enabling ML-ready feature datasets for data scientists.

Key Responsibilities

• Build PySpark ETL pipelines on Databricks for insurance claims, banking transactions, and CPG supply chain data
• Develop dbt data transformation models for Snowflake, BigQuery, and Azure Synapse
• Implement event-driven data pipelines using Apache Kafka and AWS EventBridge
• Design data vault 2.0 and star schema data warehouse models for analytical reporting
• Write complex SQL for analytical aggregations, window functions, and slowly changing dimension (SCD) processing
• Orchestrate data workflows using Apache Airflow on AWS MWAA or Azure Managed Airflow

Requirements & Skills

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or related discipline (2025/2026 batch)
• Strong Python and SQL skills; PySpark or cloud data platform exposure preferred
• Understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT patterns, and cloud platforms
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Internship or academic project in data engineering is a plus
