Data Engineer – Technology Graduate Programme

About This Role

Deutsche Bank India is hiring Technology Graduate Programme Associates specialising in Data Engineering for its Corporate & Investment Banking and Risk Technology divisions. You will build financial data infrastructure processing trade, risk, and regulatory data for one of Europe's largest banks — working with Python, Spark, and AWS in a regulated financial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build trade data ingestion pipelines from FIX, FpML, and internal OMS systems into the data lake
• Develop PySpark ETL jobs processing risk, P&L, and position data for regulatory reporting (BCBS 239, FRTB)
• Design dimensional data models in Snowflake for financial analytics and executive dashboard datasets
• Implement data lineage and data quality frameworks aligned with Deutsche Bank's data governance standards
• Write complex SQL for risk aggregation, P&L attribution, and stress testing analytical models
• Deploy data pipeline infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and AWS CDK

Requirements & Skills

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics from a reputed institution (2025/2026 batch)
• Strong Python and SQL skills; PySpark or Spark familiarity preferred
• Interest in investment banking technology, financial data, and risk analytics
• Good analytical rigour and attention to detail for regulated banking data work
• Understanding of financial instruments (equity, FX, rates, credit) is advantageous
