Data Engineer (Associate – SAP BTP Data & Analytics)

About This Role

SAP India is hiring Associate Data Engineers for its SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Data & Analytics team. You will build SAP HANA Cloud data models, SAP Datasphere data pipelines, and SAP Analytics Cloud dashboards — helping SAP's enterprise customers unlock insights from their S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, and Ariba transactional data.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build data replication pipelines using SAP Datasphere (formerly SAP Data Warehouse Cloud)
• Develop SAP HANA Cloud calculation views, SQL views, and flowgraphs for analytical processing
• Build ETL pipelines using SAP Data Intelligence (Python/PySpark operators) for multi-source data integration
• Write complex SQL and ABAP CDS views for SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics
• Develop SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) stories and predictive models consuming HANA and BTP data
• Implement data quality and governance processes in SAP Information Steward and SAP Datasphere

Requirements & Skills

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related engineering field (2025/2026 batch)
• Strong SQL skills; Python proficiency preferred
• Interest in ERP data systems, SAP analytics, or enterprise data management
• Familiarity with BI tools and data modelling concepts
• SAP BTP or openSAP certifications in data analytics are a strong advantage
