Data Engineer – Customer Success Engineering (Fresher)

About This Role

Snowflake India is hiring fresher Data Engineers for its Customer Success Engineering team. You will work directly with Snowflake's enterprise customers — helping them build efficient data pipelines on Snowflake Data Cloud, optimise their SQL workloads, design data sharing architectures, and implement Snowflake best practices for data warehouse performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Help enterprise customers build ETL/ELT pipelines loading data into Snowflake from S3, Kafka, Fivetran, and dbt
• Optimise Snowflake SQL query performance: clustering keys, materialised views, and warehouse sizing
• Design and implement Snowflake data sharing and Data Marketplace solutions for multi-tenant architectures
• Build Python and Snowpark data pipelines for customers migrating from Teradata, Oracle, and Redshift
• Develop Streamlit dashboards on Snowflake for customer data exploration use cases
• Create and maintain customer-facing technical documentation, runbooks, and best-practice guides

Requirements & Skills

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Data Science, or Statistics (2025/2026 batch)
• Exceptional SQL skills; Snowflake SQL experience or certifications are a strong plus
• Python proficiency for scripting and data pipeline development
• Understanding of cloud data warehousing, ELT patterns, and dimensional data modelling
• Excellent communication skills for technical customer interaction
