Data Engineer (Graduate Engineer Trainee – Analytics)

About This Role

HCL Technologies is hiring Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) in the Analytics & Data Engineering track. HCL's DRYiCE intelligent data operations platform and its AI/Analytics practice serve semiconductor, hi-tech, aerospace, and banking clients with data pipeline engineering and BI platform development.

Key Responsibilities

• Build data ingestion pipelines for structured and semi-structured data using Python and PySpark
• Develop ETL workflows in Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or Informatica PowerCenter
• Design data mart schemas in SQL Server, Teradata, or Snowflake for enterprise BI reporting
• Write complex T-SQL, PL/SQL, and Snowflake SQL for data transformation and aggregation
• Build Power BI and Tableau data models connecting to cloud warehouse data sources
• Implement data pipeline monitoring and SLA alerting on production data platforms

Requirements & Skills

• B.Tech/M.Tech in CS, IT, ECE, or Mathematics from a recognised university (2025/2026 batch)
• Strong SQL skills; Python proficiency preferred
• Basic understanding of data warehousing, ETL, and BI platforms
• Good analytical ability and attention to data accuracy
• Cleared HCL TechBee or GET recruitment process
