Data Engineer – Technology Analyst (Fresher)

About This Role

JPMorgan Chase India is hiring Technology Analysts specialising in Data Engineering for its Corporate & Investment Banking and Asset Management technology teams. You will build financial data pipelines that process market data, trade data, and risk analytics for one of the world's largest banks — working with Python, Spark, and AWS in a regulated financial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines for market data feeds (Bloomberg, Refinitiv) and internal trade systems
• Develop PySpark ETL jobs processing large-scale financial transaction datasets on AWS EMR
• Design data models for risk analytics, P&L reporting, and regulatory reporting (MiFID II, Basel III)
• Implement data lineage tracking and data quality frameworks for audit compliance
• Optimise SQL queries on Snowflake and Amazon Redshift for regulatory report generation
• Collaborate with quant analysts, risk managers, and compliance teams on data requirements

Requirements & Skills

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (2025/2026 batch)
• Strong Python and SQL programming skills
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and big data processing frameworks
• Interest in financial services technology, capital markets, and risk data
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail critical for regulated financial data work
