Orsted's US offshore wind program is one of the most ambitious in North America — developing projects including Revolution Wind (Rhode Island/Connecticut), Sunrise Wind (New York), and South Fork Wind (the first US commercial offshore wind farm). We are hiring ESG & Sustainability Analysts in Boston to support Orsted's US ESG reporting and environmental stewardship programs for its expanding US offshore wind portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct stakeholder engagement with fishing communities, environmental NGOs, and Indigenous communities affected by Orsted's US offshore wind projects
  • Support US regulatory environmental compliance filings with BOEM (Bureau of Ocean Energy Management) and NOAA for offshore wind permits
  • Analyze community benefit agreements and ESG commitments in Orsted's US state-level offshore wind contracts
  • Contribute to Orsted's global ESG disclosures and CDP Climate Change questionnaire responses for US operations

  • Understanding of offshore wind energy development and marine environmental assessment processes
  • Knowledge of BOEM/NOAA regulatory requirements and offshore environmental impact assessment
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and community relations skills
  • Excellent writing skills for environmental regulatory filings and community benefit documentation

Benefits

  • Competitive salary with Orsted annual bonus
  • Work at the world's most sustainable energy company on US offshore wind's most ambitious projects
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401(k) with Orsted matching
  • Boston, MA location — clean energy capital of New England with outstanding livability
