Environmental Responsibility Analyst – Patagonia

We are hiring an Environmental Responsibility Analyst in Ventura, CA to support Patagonia's world-leading environmental programs.
Responsibilities
- Support Patagonia's annual Environmental Profit & Loss (EP&L) assessment — measuring total environmental impact across the product lifecycle
- Manage supply chain environmental data collection from Patagonia's global network of textile mills, dye houses, and assembly factories
- Conduct life-cycle assessment (LCA) analyses for Patagonia apparel and gear to quantify water, energy, and chemical footprints
- Support Patagonia's responsible materials programs — tracking recycled content, organic cotton, and bluesign-certified fabric usage
- Develop metrics and reporting for Patagonia's 1% for the Planet environmental grant program outcomes
- Research environmental regulations (PFAS restrictions, extended producer responsibility, California Transparency in Supply Chains) affecting Patagonia's business
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Ecology, Sustainability, or Textile Science
- Genuine commitment to environmental activism and Patagonia's mission to save the planet
- Understanding of supply chain sustainability, LCA methodology, and responsible sourcing
- Strong analytical skills and data management proficiency in Excel
- Prior experience with outdoor, apparel, or consumer goods sustainability programs is highly valued
