Sustainability Analyst – First Solar

We are hiring Sustainability Analysts in Tempe, AZ to support First Solar's industry-leading ESG programs and solar life-cycle sustainability initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support preparation of First Solar's annual Sustainability Report covering manufacturing, supply chain, and product life-cycle impacts
- Collect and analyze Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions data across First Solar's global manufacturing facilities
- Manage First Solar's solar module end-of-life recycling program sustainability reporting and tonnage tracking
- Conduct life-cycle assessment (LCA) analyses for First Solar's Series 6 and Series 7 solar modules
- Support responsible supply chain programs including supplier ESG audits and conflict minerals reporting
- Respond to ESG investor questionnaires and engage with ESG rating agencies on First Solar's sustainability performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Ecology, Sustainability, or Chemical Engineering
- Understanding of life-cycle assessment (LCA) methodology and solar photovoltaic technology
- Knowledge of GHG accounting and ESG reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB Clean Technology sector)
- Strong data management skills; Python or R for sustainability data analysis is a plus
- Passion for clean energy manufacturing and sustainable industrial systems
