Associate Data Engineer – Oracle

We are hiring Associate Data Engineers in Austin to build enterprise data pipelines on Oracle's cloud data platform.
Responsibilities
- Build enterprise data integration pipelines using Oracle Data Integration (ODI) and Oracle GoldenGate — replicating data between Oracle databases, MySQL, and Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse
- Develop Oracle Lakehouse data engineering workflows using Oracle Big Data Service (Apache Spark/Hadoop) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Object Storage
- Implement Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) data models and semantic layer definitions enabling self-service BI for Oracle's enterprise customers
- Build Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) data flows connecting Oracle ERP, HCM, and SCM SaaS applications for enterprise data movement
- Develop ETL pipelines migrating on-premise Oracle Database workloads to Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse using Oracle Zero Downtime Migration tools
- Support Oracle's internal data engineering team maintaining enterprise analytics datasets for Oracle's finance, sales, and customer success operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Data Engineering
- SQL proficiency — especially Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and analytical query optimization
- Python skills for data pipeline scripting and automation
- Familiarity with Oracle Database, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, or enterprise ERP systems
- Understanding of ETL/ELT patterns, data warehouse design, and enterprise data management
