Junior Data Engineer – Informatica

We are hiring Junior Data Engineers in Redwood City to build enterprise data integration pipelines on Informatica's next-generation cloud platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and build ETL/ELT data integration pipelines using Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI) — connecting enterprise source systems (SAP, Salesforce, Oracle EBS) to cloud data warehouses
- Develop data quality rules and data cleansing workflows using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) to improve master data accuracy
- Build Master Data Management (MDM) data matching and merge rules consolidating duplicate customer and product records across enterprise systems
- Implement Informatica's AI-powered CLAIRE engine recommendations for automated schema mapping and data lineage documentation
- Develop REST API integrations connecting Informatica IDMC with Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, and AWS Glue for hybrid pipeline architectures
- Support enterprise customer data migration projects moving legacy on-premise data warehouses to Informatica's cloud platform
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Data Engineering
- SQL proficiency and understanding of ETL/ELT data integration patterns
- Python skills for data pipeline scripting and automation
- Familiarity with enterprise data concepts: MDM, data quality, data governance, and data lineage
- Experience with Informatica PowerCenter or IDMC is a strong plus
