Full Stack Web Developer (R&D Engineer I)

About This Role

Synopsys India is hiring R&D Engineers I – Full Stack Web Developer to build cloud-based EDA (Electronic Design Automation) tooling and design verification platforms. Synopsys tools are used by every semiconductor company on earth, including Apple, Intel, NVIDIA, and Qualcomm. You will build the web interfaces and backend services that power next-generation chip design workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Build React or Angular web interfaces for Synopsys' cloud EDA platform (Synopsys Cloud on AWS)
• Develop Python (FastAPI/Flask) or Java (Spring Boot) REST APIs for chip design data management and workflow orchestration
• Implement data visualisation components for large-scale IC design datasets using D3.js or Recharts
• Integrate authentication using Synopsys' SSO (SAML/OIDC) and manage role-based access control
• Work with PostgreSQL and time-series databases for EDA simulation run metadata
• Deploy on AWS using Kubernetes (EKS) and manage infrastructure with Terraform

Requirements & Skills

• B.Tech/M.Tech in CS, ECE, or EE from a reputed institution (2025/2026 batch)
• Strong Python or Java backend development skills
• Frontend proficiency in React or Angular with TypeScript
• Interest in semiconductor/EDA tools or cloud-based scientific computing platforms
• Understanding of REST API design, SQL databases, and basic cloud concepts
