Application Developer (Full Stack)

About This Role

Thoughtworks India is hiring Application Developers (Full Stack) through its Graduate Developer programme. Thoughtworks is globally renowned for pioneering Agile, XP, and continuous delivery practices. You will write clean, test-driven code, pair-programme with senior developers daily, and build genuinely impactful software for global clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Build well-crafted, test-driven React/TypeScript frontends and Java (Spring Boot) or Go backend services
• Practice TDD (Test-Driven Development) and BDD with Cucumber/Gherkin as core development disciplines
• Pair-programme daily with senior Thoughtworks developers — the primary learning mechanism
• Refactor legacy codebases using clean code principles and evolutionary architecture patterns
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GoCD, GitHub Actions, or Concourse
• Participate in client consulting: architecture decision records (ADRs), tech radar curation, team health checks

Requirements & Skills

• B.Tech/M.Tech from a reputed institution (2025/2026 batch); strong academic record preferred
• Genuine passion for software craftsmanship and clean code
• Proficiency in any one language: Java, Kotlin, Python, JavaScript, or Go
• Openness to pair programming, feedback, and continuous learning
• Interest in Agile and XP engineering practices (TDD, CI/CD, refactoring)
