Event Coordinator – Marriott International

Responsibilities
- Coordinate all logistics for corporate meetings, weddings, conferences, and social events at Marriott properties
- Serve as primary event day-of contact, managing vendor relationships, AV setup, catering, and room configurations
- Prepare detailed event orders (BEOs) and communicate event specifications to all hotel departments
- Respond to client inquiries, prepare proposals, and coordinate site visits for prospective event bookings
- Track event revenue, manage deposits, and process final billing with finance team
- Conduct post-event evaluations and follow up with clients to generate repeat business
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business, or related field
- 0-2 years of experience in event planning, hotel operations, or catering coordination
- Strong project management, multitasking, and problem-solving under pressure
- Professional written and verbal communication with clients and vendors
- Proficiency in event management software (Delphi, Social Tables) is a plus
