Operations Analyst – Delta Air Lines

Responsibilities
- Analyze operational performance data (on-time performance, gate utilization, crew efficiency, baggage handling) to identify improvement opportunities
- Build dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or internal Delta analytics tools
- Support irregular operations (IROPS) analysis and post-event debriefs to improve future response
- Collaborate with operations teams across Network Planning, Airport Customer Service, and Flight Operations
- Document and present data-driven recommendations to senior operations leadership
- Participate in continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma process initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Operations Management, or related field
- Strong SQL and Excel analytical skills; Python or R experience a plus
- Passion for aviation, operations, and customer experience
- Strong communication skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Ability to work non-traditional hours as airline operations are 24/7
