Data & Research Analyst – Gartner

We are hiring a Data & Research Analyst in Stamford, CT to support Gartner's proprietary research methodology and deliver data-backed technology market intelligence to clients worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze primary and secondary technology market data to support Gartner analyst research publications
- Build quantitative models and statistical analyses for Gartner's Magic Quadrant, Market Guide, and Forecast research methodologies
- Design and administer surveys to CIOs, IT leaders, and enterprise technology vendors
- Analyze survey results using SPSS, SAS, or R to identify statistically significant insights and trends
- Maintain Gartner's proprietary technology market databases and ensure data quality standards
- Assist senior research analysts in preparing client-ready reports, presentations, and data exhibits
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Social Sciences, Economics, Statistics, or Information Systems
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills; survey methodology knowledge is a plus
- Advanced Excel and data visualization skills (Tableau or Power BI)
- Excellent research and writing skills — Gartner deliverables must be clear, authoritative, and actionable
- Curiosity about enterprise technology trends and genuine interest in IT market research
