Data Analyst – Business Intelligence – Snowflake
Snowflake is the AI Data Cloud company that enables thousands of organizations to mobilize their data with near-unlimited scale and performance. We are hiring a Data Analyst on our Business Intelligence team in San Mateo — you will be working in Snowflake's own platform every day, using the product our customers love to deliver internal analytics that drives Snowflake's hypergrowth business.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain BI dashboards and self-service analytics on Snowflake using Tableau and Sigma
- Write and optimize complex SQL in Snowflake to build analytical datasets from raw event, CRM, and ERP data
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product teams to define metrics and build trusted data models in dbt
- Analyze Snowflake's key business metrics including customer acquisition, consumption growth, NRR, and pipeline
- Support quarterly business reviews and board reporting with accurate, timely analytical deliverables
- Educate internal stakeholders on self-service data tools and promote data-driven decision making
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field
- Expert SQL skills — you will write SQL in Snowflake every day
- Experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling is a significant plus
- Proficiency in Tableau or Sigma for dashboard development
- Strong business acumen and interest in SaaS business metrics (ARR, NRR, churn, LTV)
