Data Analyst – Government & Defense – Booz Allen Hamilton

We are hiring entry-level Data Analysts to support analytics missions for federal agencies — from the Department of Defense and Department of Health & Human Services to the intelligence community — applying data science to national security and public health challenges.
Responsibilities
- Analyze mission-critical government datasets including defense logistics, health surveillance, and intelligence data
- Build data pipelines, automated reports, and operational dashboards for government clients using Python and SQL
- Apply statistical and machine learning methods to support threat detection, resource optimization, and policy analysis
- Support development and documentation of data management plans compliant with federal data standards
- Collaborate with Booz Allen data scientists, engineers, and government stakeholders on analytical deliverables
- Prepare clear, well-organized reports and briefings for government program managers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or related field
- US citizenship required (position requires ability to obtain a security clearance)
- Python and SQL proficiency for data analysis
- Ability to obtain a Secret or Top Secret / SCI security clearance (Booz Allen sponsors the clearance process)
- Strong written communication skills for government report writing
