Data Analyst – Forward Deployed – Palantir Technologies
Palantir Technologies builds software that connects data, decisions, and operations for governments and enterprises. Our platforms — Palantir Gotham, Foundry, and AIP — are used by the US military, intelligence agencies, major hospitals, and Fortune 500 companies to solve their hardest data challenges. We are hiring a Data Analyst to work in the field, embedded at client sites, turning raw messy data into systems that change how institutions operate.
Responsibilities
- Work directly at client sites (government agencies, healthcare systems, manufacturers) to understand their data challenges
- Analyze client datasets — often incomplete, siloed, and poorly documented — and build analytics pipelines in Palantir Foundry
- Design ontologies, object models, and data pipelines connecting disparate enterprise data sources
- Build dashboards, applications, and workflows that clients use daily for operational decision-making
- Train and empower client teams to self-serve analytics with Palantir's tools
- Provide continuous feedback to Palantir's product teams on real-world client needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related technical field
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, or Java
- Comfort working with ambiguous, messy real-world data and translating chaos into clarity
- Excellent communication skills — the role is 50% technical, 50% client-facing
- Willingness to travel up to 50% and work on-site at diverse client locations
