Data Analyst – Member Growth – LinkedIn

We are hiring a Data Analyst on our Member Growth team in Sunnyvale, CA — analyzing how professionals discover, join, and engage with LinkedIn to drive our next billion members.
Responsibilities
- Analyze member acquisition funnels, onboarding flows, and engagement lifecycle using LinkedIn's massive dataset
- Design and analyze A/B tests to optimize growth loops, signup flows, and personalization features
- Build Tableau and internal BI dashboards tracking weekly and monthly active user growth metrics
- Identify cohort-level behavioral trends and retention drivers across different member segments
- Write efficient Hive, Presto, or Spark SQL queries to work with petabyte-scale behavioral data
- Share data-driven growth recommendations in bi-weekly leadership reviews and product planning sessions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or related quantitative field
- Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale distributed data systems (Hive, Presto, Spark)
- Python proficiency for analysis; familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
- Experience with Tableau, Looker, or similar data visualization tools
- Genuine passion for product analytics, growth metrics, and understanding user behavior
