Software Engineer – New Grad

About This Role

Atlassian — the global leader in team collaboration software (NASDAQ: TEAM) and makers of Jira, Confluence, Trello, and Bitbucket — is hiring fresh engineering graduates as Software Engineers (New Grad) for its India engineering hubs, offering fully distributed work on products used by 300,000+ organizations globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and ship features for Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Trello, or Atlassian Cloud platform used by 10+ million daily active users
• Develop scalable microservices on Atlassian's cloud-native platform — AWS, Kubernetes, and Atlassian's internal platform tools
• Build React/TypeScript front-end components using Atlassian Design System and Forge platform
• Write GraphQL APIs and RESTful services for Atlassian's ecosystem integration platform
• Contribute to Atlassian's developer ecosystem — Forge, Connect, and marketplace platform
• Work in a fully distributed global team — collaborate across Australia, USA, India, Amsterdam, and Manila

Requirements & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in CS or IT — 2024/2025 batch
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go
• Good data structures, algorithms, and system design fundamentals
• Interest in developer tooling, team collaboration software, or cloud platform engineering
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a distributed, async-first environment
