Software Development Engineer I

About This Role

MakeMyTrip — India's leading travel and hospitality technology platform (NASDAQ-listed) — is hiring fresh engineering graduates as Software Development Engineers I to build the travel booking, hotel discovery, holiday packages, and travel financial services technology used by millions of Indian and international travelers.

Key Responsibilities

• Build MakeMyTrip's flights, hotels, buses, trains, and holiday package booking systems — real-time inventory, pricing, and booking engines
• Develop GoIbibo and MakeMyTrip consumer apps — search, discovery, personalization, and booking flows
• Work on MakeMyTrip's hotel-tech platform — property management system integration, rate management, and distribution
• Build travel data platforms — price intelligence, demand forecasting, and yield management systems
• Develop backend APIs using Java, Python, or Node.js; design scalable microservices on cloud infrastructure
• Work on MakeMyTrip's machine learning infrastructure for price prediction, hotel recommendations, and traveler personalization

Requirements & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in CS, IT, or ECE — 2024/2025 batch
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Good data structures, algorithms, and system design understanding
• Interest in travel technology, marketplace engineering, or consumer internet products
