About This Role

Paytm — India's pioneering digital payments and financial services platform (NSE/BSE listed) — is hiring fresh engineering graduates as Software Development Engineers to build Paytm's payments, banking, lending, insurance, and commerce technologies serving hundreds of millions of Indian consumers and merchants.

Key Responsibilities

• Build Paytm's core payments stack — UPI, wallet, bill payments, EMI, and soundbox merchant acceptance
• Develop Paytm Money (investment platform) and Paytm Bank features — savings accounts, FDs, credit cards, and insurance
• Work on Paytm for Business — merchant POS, payment gateway, and QR code ecosystem
• Build scalable microservices and APIs using Java, Go, or Python handling high-frequency financial transactions
• Design database schemas and optimize queries for high-throughput transactional systems
• Implement fraud detection, compliance automation, and regulatory reporting systems

Requirements & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in CS, IT, or ECE — 2024/2025 batch
• Programming skills in Java, Python, Go, or JavaScript
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and REST APIs
• Interest in fintech, digital payments, or financial services technology
