About This Role
Razorpay — India's leading full-stack financial solutions company — is hiring exceptional fresh engineering graduates as Software Development Engineers I to build India's most advanced payments infrastructure, banking platform, and fintech products processing billions of dollars in transactions annually.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and scale Razorpay's payments platform — payment gateway, UPI stack, subscriptions, and international payments — using Go, Java, or Node.js
- Develop high-performance microservices handling 10,000+ TPS (transactions per second) with sub-100ms P99 latency
- Build Razorpay's banking and neo-banking products — RazorpayX, Neobank APIs, and payout infrastructure
- Design distributed systems that are fault-tolerant, horizontally scalable, and secure by design
- Implement real-time fraud detection, risk scoring, and compliance automation systems
- Contribute to Razorpay's open-source projects and participate in technical blog posts and engineering talks
Requirements & Skills
- B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in CS or IT from a top-tier institution — 2024/2025 batch
- Excellent programming skills in Go, Java, Python, or JavaScript — demonstrable through competitive programming or strong projects
- Strong data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems knowledge
- Interest in fintech, payments technology, and building high-throughput financial infrastructure
- High problem-solving ability — LeetCode/Codeforces track record is valued
