Applications Engineer – Fresher

About This Role

Oracle India — the world's #1 database and cloud technology company — is hiring fresh engineering graduates as Applications Engineers to develop and enhance Oracle's SaaS, PaaS, and cloud infrastructure products from its India development centers in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Pune.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop software features and enhancements for Oracle Cloud applications — ERP, HCM, SCM, CX — or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) platform services
• Write Java, Python, or JavaScript code for Oracle's enterprise SaaS product suite
• Design and optimize Oracle Database queries, PL/SQL procedures, and database performance tuning
• Build REST APIs and microservices on Oracle Cloud Native platforms
• Write automated test cases and participate in continuous integration testing pipelines
• Collaborate with global product teams in the USA, India, and Ireland on shared feature development

Requirements & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in CS or IT — 2024/2025 batch (top-tier institutions preferred)
• Strong programming skills in Java or Python
• Good data structures and algorithms foundation (competitive programming experience is a plus)
• Understanding of DBMS, SQL, and system design concepts
• High academic performance — typically 7+ CGPA or 70%+
