Associate Developer

About This Role

IBM India — a global technology and innovation leader — is hiring fresh engineering graduates as Associate Developers to contribute to IBM's software development, cloud engineering, and AI-powered application projects serving clients across banking, insurance, healthcare, and enterprise technology sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop applications using Java, Python, Node.js, or Go on IBM Cloud, Red Hat OpenShift, or hybrid cloud platforms
• Build microservices and containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and IBM Cloud Pak technologies
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into applications using IBM Watson APIs and IBM AutoAI tools
• Contribute to open-source IBM projects and collaborative development on GitHub
• Work in Agile/SAFe teams on enterprise software deliverables for Fortune 500 clients
• Apply DevSecOps practices — automated testing, security scanning, and continuous delivery

Requirements & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in CS, IT, or ECE — 2024/2025 batch
• Programming proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts, APIs, and database management
• Curiosity for emerging technologies — AI, blockchain, quantum computing, or cloud-native development
• Good problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset
