Associate Software Engineer

About This Role

Tech Mahindra — a global technology and digital transformation specialist and member of the Mahindra Group — is hiring fresh engineering graduates as Associate Software Engineers, offering entry-level roles in software development, digital engineering, and telecom technology across its global delivery centers in India.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop software applications in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C++ based on assigned project technology stack
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices; contribute to back-end and front-end web development
• Write SQL queries and work with Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL databases
• Perform unit testing, code debugging, and defect resolution in Agile development cycles
• Work on telecom software (BSS/OSS), network automation, or 5G/cloud-native application development as per project needs
• Contribute to DevOps activities — Git, Jenkins CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes

Requirements & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in CS, IT, ECE, or related branch — 2024/2025 batch
• 60% or above aggregate throughout academics
• Basic programming skills in any language
• Good aptitude, analytical thinking, and communication skills
