About This Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop software code in Java, Python, .NET, or other technologies assigned based on project requirements and training outcome
• Contribute to application development on web, mobile, or enterprise platforms for Cognizant's global clients
• Perform unit testing, support integration testing, and participate in QA validation cycles
• Write and optimize SQL queries for relational database interactions
• Work in Agile teams — attend daily standups, estimate tasks, and meet sprint commitments
• Learn and apply digital technologies — cloud, AI/ML, IoT — as project skills evolve

Requirements & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc. — any discipline — 2024/2025 batch
• 60% aggregate throughout all academic years (no active backlogs)
• Basic programming knowledge in any language
• Must qualify Cognizant's online assessment (CognizantONE / GenC assessments)
• Good English communication skills — written and verbal
