Graduate Engineer Trainee – Software

About This Role

HCL Technologies — one of India's Big 4 IT companies and a global technology leader — is hiring fresh engineering graduates as Graduate Engineer Trainees in software development, offering hands-on project experience across HCL's global client portfolio in engineering services, digital transformation, and product engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications across Java, Python, C#/.NET, or JavaScript-based technology stacks
• Contribute to full-stack development — building REST APIs, microservices, and web front-ends
• Work on cloud-based application development and migration projects (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Write automated test scripts using Selenium, JUnit, or pytest frameworks
• Support DevOps activities — CI/CD pipeline setup, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and deployment automation
• Participate in Agile development teams and contribute to sprint deliverables on client projects

Requirements & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in CS, IT, ECE, or related engineering — 2024/2025 batch
• 60% aggregate throughout academics
• Programming knowledge in Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and DBMS concepts
• Good aptitude and communication skills
