Biomedical Data Analyst – AI Diagnostics

About This Role

Niramai Health Analytix — a Bengaluru-based AI diagnostics startup pioneering non-invasive breast cancer screening — is hiring fresh biomedical and data science graduates as Biomedical Data Analysts to work on thermal imaging AI models and clinical data pipelines that detect breast cancer earlier and more accessibly for Indian women.

Key Responsibilities

• Process, clean, and analyse clinical thermal imaging datasets for Niramai's Thermalytix AI breast cancer screening platform
• Assist in training, validating, and evaluating AI/ML models (CNN, segmentation) on medical imaging data
• Annotate and quality-check clinical thermal images for AI model training datasets
• Conduct statistical analysis on clinical study data — sensitivity, specificity, ROC curves, and diagnostic performance metrics
• Prepare data visualizations and clinical evidence reports for regulatory submissions and research publications
• Collaborate with Niramai's AI/ML engineers, clinicians, and radiologists on model development and clinical validation

Requirements & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering, CS, or M.Sc. in Bioinformatics/Biostatistics — 2024/2025 batch
• Basic Python skills with exposure to NumPy, pandas, and scikit-learn or medical image processing libraries
• Understanding of diagnostic performance metrics (sensitivity, specificity, AUC, PPV/NPV)
• Interest in medical imaging, AI-assisted diagnosis, or women's health technology
• Strong attention to data quality and analytical rigor in a clinical evidence context
