About This Role
Poly Medicure is hiring fresh engineering graduates as Production Engineers – Medical Disposables to support manufacturing operations for its globally exported IV cannulas, blood transfusion sets, catheters, and other critical care medical consumables.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor production lines for IV cannulas, infusion sets, syringes, and blood collection systems — ensuring output targets, quality standards, and GMP compliance
- Conduct process monitoring, machine parameter checks, and in-process quality inspections during production shifts
- Implement 5S, visual management, and lean production tools on the manufacturing floor
- Investigate production downtime, rejection events, and process deviations — coordinate corrective actions with maintenance and quality teams
- Maintain production records, batch manufacturing records (BMR), and shift reports
- Support new product launch trials and process engineering activities on production lines
Requirements & Skills
- B.E./B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical, or Production Engineering — 2024/2025 batch
- Understanding of medical device manufacturing, GMP, and ISO 13485 requirements
- Willingness to work in shift-based manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of plastic injection moulding processes is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving and floor-level execution skills
